We're sorry to see you go. This page explains how to delete your Wheel of Food account and what data will be removed.
Before You Delete
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You will lose:
- All your restaurant lists and saved restaurants
- Your spin history
- Any Premium subscription benefits (subscription must be cancelled separately)
- App preferences and settings
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: Delete from Within the App
- Open Wheel of Food
- Go to Settings
- Scroll down to find "Delete All Data" or "Clear Data"
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
This will delete all locally stored data immediately.
Option 2: Request Deletion via Contact Form
Submit a request through our contact form:
- Go to our Contact Form
- Select "Account Deletion Request" as the subject
- Include the email address associated with your account in the message
- We will process your request within 7 business days
What Data is Deleted
When you delete your account, we remove:
- Local Data: Restaurant lists, preferences, spin history stored on your device
- Cloud Data: If you used cloud sync, any data stored in our servers
- Analytics: Any identifiable usage data associated with your account
What is NOT Deleted
- Subscriptions: You must cancel subscriptions separately through the App Store or Google Play
- Anonymous Analytics: Aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics
- Purchase Records: Transaction records maintained by Apple/Google for their records
Cancel Your Subscription
If you have an active subscription, please cancel it before or after deleting your account:
- iOS: Settings > Your Name > Subscriptions > Wheel of Food > Cancel
- Android: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > Wheel of Food > Cancel
